Kevin Davis, the police chief, said that when the 36-year old suspect was stopped for speeding he was “immediately aggressive” and “combative”.
The alleged shooter, after telling the officers that he had a gun in his holster, removed his weapon and fired at two officers who were standing by his driver’s door.
