Early voting for the Loudoun County January special election starts December 11

Loudoun County election officials remind voters that early voting for the January 7, 2025, special election begins Wednesday, December 11, 2024.The special election was called to fill the vacant seats in the 32nd State Senate District and the 26th House of Delegates District in the General Assembly. All registered voters in the 32nd State Senate District and the 26th House of Delegates District are eligible to vote in the election. Early voting begins Thursday, December 11, at the Office of Elections and Voter Registration, 750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, in Leesburg. Early voting hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Note that the office will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Wednesday, December 25, 2024 and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.)Additional Early Voting OpportunitiesAdditional early voting opportunities will occur at the Office of Elections and Voter Registration, Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling and Dulles South Recreation Center in South Riding Saturday, December 28, 2024, and Saturday, January 4, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. More information is online at loudoun.gov/VoteEarly.Voter Registration DeadlineThe deadline to register to vote in the January 7 election or to update current voter registration information is Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
