The latest salvo in the intra-party battle came in the form of an open letter, signed by six Republican officials from the hardline conservative 5th District — including Chairman Rick Buchanan and five members of the State Central Committee.

Early voting starts in Loudoun tomorrow for two state legislative seats

Loudoun County officials remind voters that early voting begins tomorrow for the special election scheduled for Jan. 7, 2025.

Tumay Harding is running to take the vacant State Senate seat of Suhas Subramanyam in Dist. 32. Subramanyam was elected to Congress Nov. 5 as a Representative of Virginia’s 10th congressional district to replace current Representative Jennifer Wexton retires in January.

District 32 consists of Ashburn, Sterling, South Riding, Dulles and Brambleton. Members of the Virginia State Senate serve four-year terms and are not subject to term limits.
