Loudoun Board of Supervisors Revises Rules of Order, Limits Freedom of Speech

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has adopted revisions to its Rules or Order (PDF) designed to streamline Board meetings.

JD Vance visits Helene-damaged areas to let affected residents know they are “not forgotten”

Vice President-elect visited Western North Carolina on Friday sending a message of hope and support to residents who said they feel they have been forgotten by the Administration.

President and Vice President have not visited devastated areas of North Carolina and Southwest since Oct. 2. Vance said the most pressing need right now is to get FEMA to allow a waiver for mobile homes to be set up in flood plains so that people can have short to medium lengths of , available immediately.

He also referenced Christmas several times, wished God’s blessing upon all those affected, and said he wants residents who have lost homes and businesses to be able to stay in their communities during the rebuilding process so they can be close to loved ones and where they are rooted.

All Virginia News wrote a story Dec. 4 about efforts Virginia has been taking to help the people of Southwest Virginia as much as possible recover from the devastation since the storm while the Biden Administration has turned its attention to giving more financial aid to Ukraine and Africa.
