Abigail Spanberger, the democrat candidate for the Governor of Virginia, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018.
Take a moment to think about what has happened to our country since 2018. A virus released from a lab in China completely shut down our country and crushed our civil rights; a war in Ukraine which has brought the world closer to world war than at any time in the past 75 years; massive overspending by the government created an inflation rate higher than anything experienced since the 1970’s; an invasion of millions of illegal immigrants brought crime, fentanyl and human trafficking to every state in the union. Perhaps the most egregious event of the past four years was the politicization of the justice department, weaponizing the FBI against everyone from Donald Trump to parents right here in Loudoun County, Virginia.
On November 5, 2024, the nation sent a clear message to our elected officials that enough is enough and voted in Donald Trump and a Republican majority in the house and senate to stop the insane policies that are threatening our country to its core.
The democrats in Virginia however want to return to the failed policies of Joe Biden by nominating Abigail Spanberger for Governor.
According to PolitiFact, Representative Spanberger voted with Joe Biden 100% of the time. In interviews she speaks proudly of her support for Biden’s signature policies, “Build Back Better” and the “Inflation Reduction Act” which created inflation that impacted every working family in America.
In an interview in February of 2023 Spanberger said she had gone to the southern border and said, “people in her district expected her to make tough decisions”. Her tough decision was to co-sponsor a bill to upgrade the X-ray machines and technology at the Points of Entry, a worthwhile endeavor, but pretty much putting a band aid on a severed limb.
Spanberger is also a big supporter of sending billions of dollars to Ukraine. Billions of dollars which were spent by a Pentagon that has failed multiple audits in a row, money which has enriched deep state contractors, and has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
On her website Spanberger writes about her desire for strong bipartisan leadership, don’t be fooled, Spanberger wants to bring the failed policies of the Biden administration (which she voted for 100% of the time) to Virginia. Massive overspending, identity politics, woke ideologies in our schools, electric vehicle mandates, and late term abortion on demand of fully viable babies, are what await us in a Spanberger Administration.
For the past four years democrats have controlled the Virginia Senate and for the past two years they have also controlled the Virginia House of Delegates. The only thing that has prevented Virginia from following the same failed policies that have nearly wrecked our national security is the commonsense leadership of Governor Youngkin, Lt. Governor Sears and Attorney General Miyares.
Youngkin-Sears-Miyares fought back against the policies of the previous administration that turned over Virginia’s environmental control to an unelected California Board. They have fought against late-term abortions without restrictions, increases in state taxes, and controls on the ability of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves.
Republicans must hold Abigail Spanberger accountable for her role in the disasters of the Biden Administration, massive inflation, international weakness, and endless lawfare. Spanberger must not be allowed to use the senseless feelgood rhetoric of the democrats to avoid answering the tough questions.
Lt. Governor Winsome Sears represents the commonsense approach to government we must have to prevent the radical policies of the last four years. She will continue Governor Youngkin’s efforts to roll back car taxes, helping every Virginia family. She will help bring sensible solutions to Virginia’s expanding energy needs to keep growing our commercial base. She will defend life at every stage, even those that cannot speak for themselves.
Lt. Governor Sears will protect our constitutional rights for freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom to protect ourselves, our homes and our families.
