Virginia schools face federal scrutiny over parental rights laws

The U.S. Department of Education is putting Virginia schools on notice, warning they could lose federal funding and face further investigation if they fail to comply with parental rights laws.

Tumay Harding wins Republican primary for Virginia Senate District 32

Tumay Harding dominated a crowded field of six candidates to win the primary for the Dist. 32 seat.  Tumay, with endorsements from , former congressman Dick Black, and former state delegate Bob Marshall, won 64% of the votes.

Tumay has lived in for 12 years with her husband and three daughters.

Pointing out the failures of the majority in the General Assembly, especially in the areas of , increasing illegal migrant , increasing cost of living, Tumay believes Senate District 32 is ready for change.  Tumay says she speaks to the heart of all people, conservatives, independents, even , who want a Virginia that can do so much better.

The for Senate Dist. 32 will be held Jan. 7.
