Clancy receives endorsement of Indian community leaders from all faiths

American Indian community leaders from the Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and Sikh faiths have publicly announced their support for Republican candidate Mike Clancy for Congress in ‘s 10th district. 

Mike Clancy is the Republican candidate for Congress in District 10.

Clancy is an attorney and technology executive who is running on a platform of fixing America’s and economy, reversing the government’s fiscal irresponsibility, securing the country’s borders, maintaining a strong national defense, and defending parents rights and unborn children, as well as individual and Constitutional rights.

Clancy has substantial experience in national security, cybersecurity, healthcare and federal legislation. He served on -elect Youngkin’s Technology & Cybersecurity Transition Team.

He works as a senior executive and lawyer with a global technology company and serves on the Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee. He lives in Sterling with his wife, Lynn, a long-time first responder paramedic.

Leaders of the diverse Indian population in Loudoun County agreed that, “Mike Clancy represents the commitment to community values that our cherish” and is a “leader we can trust,” they said in a press release.

“In contrast, his Democratic opponent, Suhas Subramanyam, is supported by groups that do not align with our principles and has consistently promoted policies that undermine the rights of parents,” they further stated.

Mike Clancy stops in a polling location on Oct. 29 to thank supporter Xi Van Fleet, a Chinese American from Chantilly. Van Fleet wrote the book “Mao’s America: A survivor’s warning” published in 2023 which recounts her childhood under the Mao regime’s Cultural Revolution in and compares it to America today.

Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian-American entrepreneur, author, and political commentator who was an early Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, also endorsed Clancy on Nov. 1.

Ramaswamy is one of the leading voices in the Republican party and, at age 39, is viewed as the next generation who will greatly shape the party’s path forward.

Virginia’s 10th district, seen in the map below, includes all of Rappahannock County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County and part of and County as well as Manassas and Manassas Park.

The 10th District is anchored by Loudoun County, which accounts for nearly 54% of the district. There are at least 545,044 registered voters in this district, according to the Virginia Public Access Project and the Virginia Department of Elections. 

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Early ends, Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5pm.  Early voting locations are:
