Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office arrests Georgia Man in Ashburn for the Abduction of a 3 year old

The ‘s Office has arrested a suspect after a child was abducted in , on Sunday, 9 March 2025.

Deputies were dispatched to the 43000 Block of Central Station Drive at 7:28 pm after reports that an unknown male had taken a 3-year old child from a local restaurant. The mother of the child intervened right away, rescuing her child before the suspect was able to leave. The child was not injured.

After a thorough investigation on the scene, LCSO identified the suspect as Shane Paul Bergeron (34), of Jefferson, Georgia. Bergeron, 34, was arrested at a hotel nearby.

Bergeron is being held at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center without bond on of Abduction by Force.
