Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association Endorses Winsome Earle-Sears, Jason Miyares and John Reid

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — The Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association (VBPBA) announced its endorsement of Republican gubernatorial nominee Winsome Earle-Sears, along with the entire GOP ticket, underscoring the importance of strong, principled leadership to keep Virginia’s communities safe.

In its statement, the Virginia Beach PBA emphasized its independence from the statewide Virginia Police Benevolent Association and made clear that its support reflects the priorities of Virginia Beach law enforcement professionals.

The association formally endorsed Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor, John Reid for Lieutenant Governor, Jason Miyares for Attorney General, Colin Stolle for Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney, and Rocky Holcomb for Virginia Beach Sheriff.

“In Virginia Beach, our law enforcement professionals know the truth: public safety is on the ballot,” said Winsome Earle-Sears. “I am honored to have the support of the Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association, and I know that together with John Reid, Jason Miyares, Colin Stolle, and Rocky Holcomb, we will keep Virginia safe, back our men and women in uniform, and restore common sense in Richmond.”

The endorsement comes as the GOP ticket sharpens its message on law and order in the closing stretch of the campaign. With Election Day on Tuesday, November 4, the backing of Virginia Beach’s law enforcement leaders highlights the contrast between the Republican slate and Democrats who have embraced policies that law enforcement officers say undermine safety and accountability.
