McLean Bible Church documentary published on YouTube

A new 2-part documentary on McLean Bible Church was published to YouTube last week, exposing a church fraught with financial and moral skepticism by its congregation for the last several years.

The videos were produced by Church Reform Initiative, a McLean-based non-profit which describes their mission as “existing to assist and support organizations and individuals in identifying and addressing corruption within the Christian church and Christian parachurch organizations through awareness, education, and the legal process.”

The non-profit is composed of several former members of McClean Bible Church.

The documentary quickly gained steam and has been the subject of numerous Youtube channel hosts commenting on it. There have been several lawsuits since 2021 concerning the leadership of McLean Bible Church.

David Platt, who joined the church in 2017, remains lead pastor of McLean Bible Church.
